Note: No Spike/Buffy in this part, but this part is essential to the
story.
The Master was hoping that Spike and Buffy arrived soon in Sunnydale.
He
needed them now more than ever. The stupid watcher's council in it's
infinite wisdom had sent four slayers here. All of his vampire children
were
getting killed. These slayers had to be gotten rid of. Well maybe...
"Willow, what's wrong?" the master said holding up one of his favorite
children by her chin.
"They got Xander and want the gem of Kyranak if I want him back."
"Let him go, Willow."
"No, I love Xander. He has to live."
The Master smacked Willow.
"Get out of my face Willow. Xander is lost."
"No. He was the one who..."
"Did what Willow? Big deal. I have bigger things to deal with. Besides
go
rescue Xander yourself and kill a slayer if you do get him back."
"If I fail."
"Then you become a pile of ashes."
"Fine." Willow said walking away upset and angry.
The Master liked to get Willow angry. It made her a better fighter.
Love was
a foolish thing in a vampire. Yet some of them possessed it, one of the
few
human qualities that some vampires kept. Very special vampires had this
ability to them.
He was sure that was Spike's and Buffy's achilles heel. Besides the
master
really wanted to know what she looked like. He had plans for both Spike
and
especially Buffy.
Giles looked at all four of the girls who the council sent. There was
Kendra, Faith, Morgan, and Bonnie. Bonnie reminded Giles of the
daughter he
had loved and lost to a vampire.
"Hey, G. How is it going?" Faith asked.
"Faith are you crazy?"
"Nope. She's smart." Morgan said through her flowing red hair while
practicing with Kendra. Morgan and Kendra were the ones who took their
slaying duties seriously. Yet all the slayers were different.
These four girls were slowly taking Sunnydale back. Thank God, the
Watchers
council had sent more than one Slayer to Sunnydale. He had never
expected
that four slayers would show up.
"Let me out of here" Xander Harris's voice said.
"We should have staked him" Faith said
"No, we need him to tell us what the master is planning" Bonnie said
Giles looked at Bonnie. She was a short haired blonde and had big brown
chocalate eyes. Yet he knew she was the most sensible one of the group.
"Ladies, you know Willow is going to want him back."
"Point being Morgan..." Kendra said.
"She'll want him back." Faith said.
All of a sudden Devon, came running in.
"Devon, what's wrong?" Bonnie asked
"They got Oz." Devon said.
"Not Oz" Bonnie said realizing that she loved Oz very much. He loved
her
back too, she was sure of that. He was in danger.
"Yep. Willow said something about making a trade though.
"Xander for Oz. Typical of a vampire. Vampires have no honor." Kendra
said.
"Giving up Xander is stupid. I say let's stake his dead ass." Faith
said
"Faith we lose any leverage if we give up Xander. Although, by giving
Xander
up, we will save a life." Morgan said
"This sucks." Bonnie said her eyes filled with tears. She knocked a pot
over....
Scene: The Watchers Headquarters in England
Nigel: You absoulutely sure they are headed to Sunnydale.
Trent: Positive. They were seen leaving their Manhattan club a few days
ago.
Lovant had the scroll with the Masters crest.
Nigel: Not now. We were just starting to get that town back.
Trent: I know, but maybe they...
Nigel: Lat time we warned a slayer and a watcher about Spike and Buffy
coming, they died in one of the most gruesome ways from what our
informants
told us.
Trent: Don't remind me.
Nigel: There are four slayers in Sunnydale now. That could be to our
advantage.
Trent: Buffy and Spike are vicious fighters. They need to be stopped.
Nigel: Maybe if we gave them...
Trent: No, they must die. I often cry about the loss of Buffy to them.
She
would have been a remarakable slayer if Merrick...
Nigel: Betrayed her trust and gave to her Spike on a silver platter.
Trent: I'm just glad he's dust now.
Nigel: Spike and Buffy are a threat. They need to be eliminated.
